I have a friend who is currently interviewing for EFL and content teaching jobs abroad.

They know about the UAE, KSA, and Qatar.

But they asked me about Bahrain.

They are specifically interested in what the schools are like for expat kids (they have 2, one in primary and one in secondary) and they would like to know what there is for kids to do such as football, swimming, etc.

does anyone have any information they can share?

I don't think they will be visiting any of the locations with women of "ill repute" or the bar scene.

I have not come across any EFL teachers in Bahrain with school-age children. Will the employer pay an education allowance large enough to send the children to a reasonable school ? I think I know the answer to that question.
