Hola foreros!
I live in the US and I'm applying for some elementary/middle school teaching jobs in Colombia. I want to ask for reference letters from some people who know me well as an employee and teacher, but I don't know what exactly the letter should say. Is there a standard format for a good letter, or could someone refer me to a sample letter? Thanks in advance!
Drew
P.S. I've done lots of teaching/tutoring over several years but all volunteer, so the trick is to get a good non-professional reference from volunteering AND a professional reference from my non-teaching career. Thanks again! |

Provide the person writing with as full details as possible of the job you are applying for and ask them to say specifically why they think you are suitable for THAT job, not just ANY job. |
