Hi,
Just like to know if anyone out there has ever taught in or around Anshun in Guizhou Province, or knows of anyone who has. Any info would be really useful. Thanks. |

I only have tourist experiences relating to Guizhou, and in this capacity I would say go for it, it is more scenic there than in the provinces that have the most expats who only go for the cash.
I also would expect a warmer reception there than you can reasonably expect in Guangdong.
Guizhou is pleasant year round, not overly hot, never too cold. It is hilly, and peopled by natives that are not ethnic Chinese.
However, the province is a backwater, what few industries they have tend to be outdated and polluting. Guiyang for instance is noting short of an eyesore. Anshun is about a hundred kms away. |
