Does Kuwait have visa bans if you quit like the Emirates, Saudi, and Qatar. If so, how long? Thanks for your responses.

Feel free to pm.

only the kuwaiti courts can have someone 'blacklisted' from entry into/exit from kuwait
this is done as a result of a judgement against against someone in a criminal or civil case filed against them
a recent example is the asst principal at al bayan bilingual school who had a parent file a dubious case against her and the won this temporary judgement to keep the principal in the country to settle the case
another eample is if a teacher pulls a 'runner' and the employer files a case and wins prohibiting the person from entering kuwait again

this process is not automatic - someone must file a case and appear before a judge to request this ban

as kuwait is tied into all GCC countries, a ban in kuwait is theoretically a ban to all GCC countries.....and as all foreigners are fingerprinted it is assumed that changing a passport would not be a viable way of getting around the ban, but who knows?

you can enter your kuwaiti civil id number into the ministry of interior website to see if you have a case filled against you or if you are 'blacklisted'

what if someone pulls a 'runner' before they got their civil ID?

then the employer can still file a case and request 'blacklisting'
a civil id is not necessary for this

I didn't do a runner. I'm just asking to know what will happen in the future if I get a job there, but decide to formally resign because I get another offer in another GCC country. So is it safe to assume that there generally is no ban except under certain circumstances?

if you do not break the terms of your contract (eg give them proper notice) or otehrwise do anything illegal, you shouldn't get a ban
