Hi!
As I understand it, one can take work which is classes as a Nebenberuflicher Taetigkeit and this is taxed after one has earned 2500 euros... is this per organisation? Is it possible to work at two or more organisations, which are all classed as Nebenrufliche Taetigkeiten (e.g. VHS, IHK) and get 2500 eiros tax free from each place? I'm also freelancing at two unis, but each of those jobs are classed as a Haupttaetigkeit for me...
If anyone is on the know on tax matters and can give me any advice, it'd be very welcomed!
Thanks |

As long as you have a valid work permit in Germany, you can earn up to (I believe) 15,000 or 17,000 a year (not certain the exact figure) tax free. I lived in Germany for over 2 years and never had to pay taxes because I fell under the line of income. |
