I worked in Kuwait from 2000 till 2008, teaching at an international school. I"m interested in coming back for the upcoming school year, but I fear all positions have been filled. Does anyone know of a school that needs a qualified elementary teacher?
Cheers. |

Since individuals and schools are not allowed to mention specific openings here on the board, you may want to just start calling the schools directly.

Knock yourself out- it's never too late in Kuwait. |
Thanks Starfell.
I actually have an offer to return to a former employer (ATIS) , but after reading all the negative posts about the school, I'm reluctant to take their offer. It used to be a nice place to work. Has it really gotten that bad? |

They've offered me a good position in elementary, teaching grade 1. Hopefully things have gotten better in that grade level.
A few years ago, there was a nightmare teacher in that grade. (Vanessa or Victoria, can't remember) Horrible person. When she wasn't screaming and yelling at the kids, she was in the principal's office whining and complaining. She ended up leaving for another school, only to return the next year with her tail between her legs, begging for a job! Thankfully, the school turned her down. |
