Hey, 15. You have plenty of people backing you up if you need them. I just left a job at Al Marefa, a job that ranks as the worst I've had in TESOL. Seems like Kuwait, the liberated trash heap, is a place to be avoided, eh?

Read my thread on Al Marefa. What I posted is hard to believe...but it's all true.

This is a common complaint in the liberated trash heap.

Gust still treats its staff disgustingly. Definitely not worth working at unless you are desperate.

There's a lot of that going around in Kuwait. I'm glad I left the Kuwaiti heap before I went to jail for punting a Napoleon-wanna-be's ass across the room.

I feel like I'm reading about HCT when I read this:

"Teachers are now here to "entertain" students not actually teach them anything useful. If you care anything about standards and actually enjoy teaching, stay far, far away from here. It is only getting worse - total disrespect for teachers both by students and admin."

"no student will fail due to absences"

The same thing could be said about HCT.
