Hi I noticed these guys are advertising for teachers in Brazil and the bens look great plus it all seems very well organised.

When I downloaded the application form I then noticed you have to pay a $250 deposit (refundable if they don't find you a job). Also, right at the end of all the spiel it mentions that the placement actually costs $1875.

Does anyone have any experience with this company?
They mention that they are authorised by homeland security in the us to sponser applicants for J1 visas so does that make them legit??

$1875 does seem a little excessive considering you'll be working for them...

I wouldn't pay someone money to do volunteer work - but I guess that's just me.

I agree. I would not pay someone to volunteer for them and I wouldn't pay them for any training they provide.

Seems a lot, but does this perhaps cover housing, food, and/or transportation over a period of time? If it does, then it doesn't seem unreasonable.
