I suspect that I won't really need one, but as the journey approaches I would like to have all my bases covered. Do they honor my US license temporarily? (I'm lookin at you Spiral) Smile. I am obliged for your help so far.

Jason

Yes, it will be ok for a while for sure. In fact, I never bothered to get a Czech one myself - I drive rarely and my Canadian license is still valid.

No, you are unlikely to need to drive much in general -
Public transport is FAR more efficient.

You might look into AAA's international driver's license add-on. I don't know how official it is, but it's an extra piece of paper that says you are qualified to drive in many countries. Last time I checked, it was pretty cheap and looks nice, in addition to your valid US license.

Are you coming over in August?

We certainly are, sir. We set sail...or wing, rather, on 3 August. I'm a little apprehensive about the Job market these days, but I'm sure we stand a better chance because we are looking in the peak hiring season (for which, I am obliged yet again). We have our hearts set on Prague, but we remain open to other opportunities.
