I'm interested in teaching in the Philippines and would like some information about Noblesse International School in Pampanga.
Does anyone know it or worked there?
I was an Education major and have legitimate undergrad and grad degrees.
Should that be enough for an international school position in the Philippines? |

Hey I start work there in a week. The staff hired for this coming term have all got teacher certification. I'm not sure whether they would consider an undergrad and grad degree without certification. You could email the head and inquire. |

I would say there is little or no prospect of there being a problem if one or both of your degrees is in Education.
The "certification" thing is questionable from the outset as teaching licenses can easily be obtained for various levels of teaching in some countries.
Many, many international schools hire teachers that are not technically "certified" but are otherwise educated and experienced as teachers.
This especially happens when the school year is about to begin and teachers fail to show up or positions have never been filled. It also happens when a teacher suddenly departs mid-term, etc.
Good luck with your job hunt! |
