Hello,

I assume there are gyms in PP, correct?

I'm not looking for anything fancy like a hotel type of gym.

I don't need A/C or any bells and whislte. Just barbells and some basic cardio equipment.

I just want to stay in shape while in PP with some weights and a stationary bike or treadmill for cardio.

Reasonable price?

When I am teaching and living in South East Asia I tend to get out of shape because of the hot weather and being physically lazy.

TIA (thanks in advance)

Yes, there are gyms here. I've heard of a good one that only charges 3000rl (about $0.75USD) per visit. Sounds like it has everything u would need and them some!!!

I pay over $600 a year, but its for a gym/spa/pool in a supposedly 4-star hotel.

Also, there are a few places around the city that set up speakers on the sidewalk and charge about $0.50USD to join in on aerobics for 2 hours. 1 hour of regular moves and the last hour of funny looking dance moves. It's mostly locals taking part, but I've definitely seen Westerners doing it too. I think they do them in the same beautiful locations everyday (in olympic stadium, riverfront, Norodom Blvd, near Independant monument, etc) at around 6-7AM and 6-7PM.....
