Hi members,

I'm new to this site so be gentle Smile.

I was just wondering whether anyone has any feedback or previously worked for this school? (Rise Subject English School?)

I can post their website but will check the forum rules before I do.

Oh and I have done my own research on Google and this forum but little information was found.

A little about me:

British Native, White, EU passport holder.
Age: 24
BSc (Hons) Applied Criminology with Psychology
TEFL Cert 120 hours, 6 hours teaching practice 4 week course.
Not CELTA or Trinity just your average 'middle of the road' course.

about Rise..

I worked a few weeks last in the late summer in 2009 at the one in Shijiazhuang.

I quite enjoyed it actually. I thought the 10 little children i taught was quite fun and funny. Making it a pleasure.

Very modernized school that made it a pleasure to assist them. They wanted to KEEP ME, because I am good with children who i so adore as my own grand children.

Here are comments from a Chinese teaching assistant's first day at Rise.

Reading between the lines of what this person writes gives you a good sense for how these schools are run.
