In the Gulf, if a police clearance is required at all (it isn't always) it's required by the ministry or embassy, not by the employer. |

Trailing spouses and children do not require a police clearance in most GCC countries, it is for employment that it is required.
Also, the GCC is not Asia |

I knew as soon as I hit the submit button someone would pick me up on that
However, I think if you mentioned to a GCC national that they were Asians some might take exception Sometimes it is almost they are a continent apart from the rest of us |
