How about, The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova? |
Sounds like another Anne Rice or Stephanie Meyer.
No, thanks.
I prefer Vampirella. |

Far from it. Read it, then decide. |

I might read it. On my possible return trip to Asia in April, I'll have nothing else to do during the 16-hour flight.
Pardon my previous knee-jerk reaction.
The media has been so over-saturated with vampires lately. Edward Cullen. Stefan Salvatore. Damon Salvatore. Ad nauseum.
But I still like Vampirella. |

Sounds like a cheap porn movie set in a 'medieval' castle dungeon somewhere!

Vampirella is actually a 1970's comic book character who has developed a strong fan following over the years.
Her image has graced posters, wallpapers, t-shirts, postcards, books, toys, videos, calendars, etc.
A couple of years ago, she celebrated her 40th Anniversary. She also has her own dedicated fan club called the Scarlet Legion.
She's basically the Wonder Woman of horror comics.
But I don't think she is in Romania. |
