Is anyone else having problems with Witopia? Particularly in China?

It's been down here for over a day -- and none of my coworkers can access it either.

China often blocks sites. Either try a similar site or check back in a couple weeks.

I already paid for the year. (They don't do it monthly.)

The problem is that it's impossible to tell if it's the GFW, bandwith, or just certain types of maintenance because the error message is the same. This is what makes a lot of China expats are overly paranoid about censorship.

It's why I was hoping someone could check the main/alternate site for me so I could find out how long it could be down for. That way I could know whether to get a new VPN and/or get a refund.

Not checking my email for three weeks just isn't an option. Sad

Not having an account with them I can't tell you if their servers for VPN are working, down for maintenance or blocked in China.

I use that VPN and I'm in China. According to their techies, because the Nat. Ppl's Congress is in session, things have been kind of steamrollered. Email them and they'll send you a link to reinstall your vpn with updates. They work.
