I am really wanting to teach in Central or Eastern Europe. I am currently job searching and want to get a job for Europe that starts in September 2011. However, I know that it is difficult for a non EU citizen to find work there without applying for the job in person, but I am not able to be there in person at the moment. Does anyone have any advice, experience, or contacts? I would appreciate it. Thanks!

This organisation approached me about permanent work in Kiev, but I'm not available for work. I have no knowledge of the job or the organisation, so this is just a lead not a recommendation. I have no other details except that I had a very pleasant exchange of emails with the contact, one Yulia Kolesova.

I can give you another lead for a school in Ukraine.

Contact: Yana, Kabuz, Head of Studies, [email protected]

They have schools in Kiev and Odessa. I just finished a one year contract with a different school and I'm planning in starting a new job in September. I don't know too much about this school because a friend gave me the lead. I understand that they have 9 schools in Kiev. I think I want to work in Kharkov so I'm not that interested in this school myself.

Ukraine is not part of the EU so you do not have to have an EU passport.
