I wanted to inquire about possible job opportunities at the university level in Qatar for someone with an:
M.Ed (ESOL) from USA
5 years experience (non adult)
TEFL certification
Last but not least
Wife and two kids

You could try Qatar University. But, I heard that they had finished hiring for this year. Again, they will prefer to see CVs showing related university level experience.

All of the people I know at QU and all the US universities (including Qatar Foundation Bridge program)have related MAs and substantial years teaching Arabic speakers.
Should you apply? Hell yes. But be prepared for a no and delighted if not estatic at a yes even for an interview. |
