Hello everybody; I hope you are all having a terrific Memorial Day Weekend. That is if you live in the U.S.
I am thinking about getting my MA in TESOL. I have looked at some schools and the New School is really interesting to me. Have anybody applied/enrolled at this school? How easy/difficult is it to get accepted?
I look forward to reading your comments. Thanks so much in advance!
Have a wonderful day. |

I am not sure about the acceptance issue, but the New School has a great reputation in the field. I considered doing my own MA there, but opted for a British school in the end. New School, however, boasts some of the leading lights in the field on-staff. If you do it, I'm sure it'll be worth it!! |

I'm not sure what the acceptance is like for the MA, but I will say that I got my original ELT certificate through their Certificate in Teaching English program and have nothing but praise for it. They had just started the MA in TESOL program as I was completing the certificate program. I think the only thing keeping me from doing the MA there myself is the prospect of additional student debt, at the moment. But once that's all taken care of (which will be soon) I'm seriously going to consider it again. |
