So I decided to try my luck with France here are my credentials: I am currently enrolled in a doctoral program specializing in educational management, I have three years teaching experience, my M.Ed is in curriculum and instruction with a specialization in reading and my BA is in English. I also am moderate in Italian and Spanish and beginner level in Ga, Mandarin Chinese and French. I tried my luck in ME but it is not for me at all. Oh and I have a CELTA certificate.

My question is what should my salary be I already applied to Wall Street Paris and for those who work there please pm me immediately. About to leave this hell hole ME and go back to the states. Too many pedophiles and explotative labor of American teachers here. Shocked

An American desperately seeking work in Paris?
You'll need all the kind words you can get!

I'm afraid it's highly unlikely that you can get a work permit.

You would be best off to see if there are any international school positions open (they're rare) as these schools CAN get work permits for non-EU member citizens, and your quals would be sufficient, I think.

There are a couple of American schools in France - one in Paris, the other down in the South - google them - you may find that they are more susceptible to an application from an American citizen.
