Hey does anyone have intel on the Canadian Education College in Singapore?

My partner has an upcoming interview with them and I haven't come across them in the Singapore forums. They seem legit but of course, caveot emptor. Any gossip would be much appreciated.

How much are they paying? What are the hours?

It looks like a school that depends on expats currently residing in Singapore for its core student base as it doesn't seem to have applied for Edutrust yet.

Their TESOL diplomas are as worthless as online diplomas and cost a fortune.

Are you expecting to support the two of you from this job alone?

Good questions and thanks for the quick info on them.

We haven't gotten particulars on pay and hours yet as they want us to be in Singapore first. I'm sure we could ask and get a response however as they haven't dodged our emails or questions as of yet.

I remember reading about an Edutrust qualification/registration on the SG forum as an indicator of a legit (read: not scumbag) language school. Know of any site or way to find a list of edutrust rated schools for Sg? If not, no worries.

And no, I have a job waiting for me there with some cash in the bank as a safety net so we'll be tag teaming our payments for housing, etc.

Scratch my last inquiry about Edutrust lists as getting off my lazy ass and running a simple google search has revealed many new things to me

I worked for them for a year when they were West Business School.
They are a legit school. The pay was okay, and they were cool to work with. I lost some money once and owner fronted me money till payday.
