What is the hourly pay for part time teaching in Costa Rica? How difficult is it to come by part time teaching work if you are in San Jose?

You get around $7 0r $8 per hour. As for part time hours, if you have your TESOL or TEFL it will be easy as pie to find part time work. Without your TESOL I wouldn't bank on it.

Do I need a TEFL if I have a degree and experience? How much to get a Tefl in Costa Rica?

If you have a degree and experience, I think you'll be able to get work. I've had a friend or two without TEFL and experience get jobs. For TEFL, on-site courses can range from $1,400 to $2,000. Check around the forum and you'll find the names to a bunch (sometimes one leads to another, as in the case of Bridge and Maximo Nivel I believe. Cheaper just to go directly to the source.) Most are in San Jose, or around it.

I already have a lot of online work. I don't know that I can handle a 40 hour a week course. Does anyone in San Jose offer a Saturday course over 8-10 weeks?

Great to hear you've got a lot of online work. I know Maximo Nivel sometimes did TEFL online for people over the course of even a few months to fit people's schedules, but I'm not sure if they would do that for someone on site. You can always ask though. Other schools may do it if you ask. It really depends.

I write for one tech site and probably will write close to 100 corporate pages a month.

The corporate descriptions are 300 words a piece.
