Nothing for the undeserving poor then? Alas, I fear I shall have to decline a trip to the fair city and remain in my tent in Arabia.

Father Ignatius should approach the Society of Jesus or the Bishop of Rome himself.

Alas for inmates in KSA the dates do not coincide with the times when your masters let you out.

I shall be there addressing the HUGE audiences of my MANY fans and admirers.

IATEFL, 2012,20 March at SECC, Glasgow is when my many fans and few detractors can attend and ask for my autograph. Prices are very reasonable.

Having now celebrated my 65th birthday ( a cup of tea and TWO digestive biscuits !), I niow look forward to holding forth at IATEFL Conference in Glasgow on 20 March.

Subject is "Teaching EFL to Migrant Workers in Rural Scotland".

Really. This is NOT a wind-up !

A previes of the venue suggests that the SECC is an ideal place for AGORAPHILIACS.

(for the etymologically challenged AGORA is Greek for Market)

Open space is also a useful translation I think....agoraphobia is fear of open spaces though a fear of markets could be well justified in the present economic climate.
