Hi Everyone,
I am an experienced teacher, with international experience. I am interested in teaching in Qatar.
Can anyone name some good recruiters?
Thanks |

1) What are your specific academic credentials and experience?
2) Are you looking to teach children or adults? If the latter, is your interest in language institutes or at the college/university level? |

A perfect example of an oxymoron. Direct hire is the way to go in the Gulf.

I would avoid recruiters. They're basically middlemen who usually charge a fee.
Just my veiled sentiments...

You MUST stay away from recruitrment firms. Their only goal is to make a profit at your expense. They wll cream off what should be given to you as a commission to themselves.
Institutions in the Middle East need to learn that they will do best by finding their own reliable recruitment means. They MUST depend on their own criteria.
They must stop farming education out to agencies that are seriously disrespected in the profession. |

Too true, Miss Vino Rossi. Recruitment agencies never tell the true story and often when teachers turn up things are very different from what they've been promised. Stay away from such agencies is my advice. |
