I've had these "recipes" for many years and never get tired of reading them year after year. Enjoy!

HOLIDAY RECIPES SUBMITTED BY VARIOUS KINDERGARTEN CLASSES
(Try at your own risk!)

Thanksgiving

Russell - Turkey
Don't get the turkey like the pilgrims did or you have to pull the feathers off. You cut the turkey up and put it in the oven for ten minutes and 300 degrees. You wear big oven gloves. You put gravy on it and eat it.

Bobby - Turkey
You buy the turkey and take the paper off. Then you put it in the refrigerator and take it back out and cut it with a knife and make sure all the ropes are out and take out the neck and heart. Then you put it in a big pan and cook it for half an hour at 80 degrees. Then you invite people over and eat.

Matt - Turkey
Put salt, grease and sugar on the turkey. Put it in the oven for fifty-five minutes. Take it out and pass it around.

Meghan - Turkey
You cut it into 16 pieces and then you leave it in the oven for 15 minutes and 4 degrees. You take it out and let it cool and then after 5 minutes, then you eat it.

Irene - Turkey
Put it on a plate and put it in the oven with gravy. You cook it for 1 minute and for 100 degrees. Then it's all cooked. Your mom or dad cuts it and then eat.

Alan - Turkey
First you shoot it and then you cut it. And then you put it in the oven and cook it for 10 minutes and 20 degrees. You put it on plates and then you eat it.

Lauren - Turkey
First you find a turkey and kill it. Cut it open. Put it in a pan. Pour milk in the pan. Put a little chicken with it. Put salsa on it. Take out of pan. Put it on the board. Cut into little pieces. Put on a rack. Put in the oven for 7 minutes at 10 degrees. Take out of the oven and put eensy weensy bit of sugar on it. Put a little more salsa on it. Then you eat it.

Christopher - Pumpkin Pie
First you buy a pumpkin and smash it. Then it is all done. And you cook it in the oven for 12 minutes and 4 degrees. Then you eat it.

Jennie - Corn
My mom buys it. Then you throw it. Then you cook it and eat it.

Sherry - Corn
You get the funny corns with the clothes on it. You have to pull the clothes off the corns before you cook it. Put it in water that bubbles and cook the corns for 2 days. You can eat it with your hands with butter.

Jordan - Cranberry Pie
Put cranberry juice in it. Then you put berries in it. Then you put dough in it. Then you bake it before you eat it.

Shelby - Applesauce
Go to the store and buy some apples, and then you squish them up. Then you put them in a jar that says, "Applesauce." Then you can eat it.

Joslyn - Apple Pie
Take some apples, mash them up. Take some bread and make a pie with it. Get some dough and squish it. Shape the dough into a pie shape. Put the apples in it. Then bake it at 9 degrees for 15 minutes.

Nicholas - White and Brown Pudding
First you read the wrapper. Get a piece of water. Stir. Then you can eat it.

Garrett - Scrumptious Pumpkin Pie
You'll need a pot. You'll need a cup of seeds. Then you're done. Bake for 40 seconds at 50 degrees.

Other Popular Dishes

Darryle - Spaghetti
You need 30 baskets of sauce, 21 spaghetti sticks, 22 chickens, 10 baskets of corn, and 30 french fries. Cook it in a circle pan. You will need a stove to cook it on. Let it cook for 1,000 or 50 hours. Eat it at the table with a spoon. Use your hands for the french fries.

Isabelle - Spaghetti
Put those red things in it. Then put the spaghetti in it. Then cook it in the oven for 2 minutes at 8 degrees.

Jack - Chili
You put all the stuff in the pan and cook it for a long time. Then dad and all his friends eat it.

Hannah - Brownies
Mix 7 nuts, 1 thing of chocolate, 1 thing of sugar and 1 thing of salt. Cook it in the oven on 70 degrees for 10 minutes. Eat it with a fork.

Rebecca - Pancakes
You put 3 pancakes on a weird plate. You do the thing and turn it over. Then you do some more and then you eat them.

Chauncey - Chicken
You have to get 5 chickens and some white stuff. Put a little white stuff on the chickens. Put it in a pan and cook it in the oven for about 5 or 6 hours. Take it out and put it in the refrigerator for about 12 hours. Warm it up again and then eat it.

Jenna - Chicken
Let the ice melt off the chicken until we get off school. Put it in the microwave on zero degrees to make sure the ice is off of it. Take out a knife and cut it. Take out the plates and eat it.

Chad - Grilled Cheese
Put the bread on the pan and put the cheese on it. Put the other side of the bread on the cheese. Cook it for ten hours. Turn it over for ten minutes. Put it on a plate and eat it.

Steven - Mashed Potatoes
Take crackers and break them. Put them in a pot. Turn on the stove real hot. Put milk in and stir. Let them sit there for nine minutes. Turn the stove off and put them on a plate.

Bradley - Macaroni and Cheese
You need 1 measure of water, 1 drip of salt, and 2 drops of food medicine. Put it in the oven for 1 minutes on 2 degrees. Serve it in a regular bowl.

Amy - Pudding
First you cut the chocolate. Get the chocolate milk. Then you make a cup. Get a can. Cut the sides off of paper and get some glue. Warm the pudding for ten minutes. Put it in the freezer for fifteen minutes. When it is done, take it out and put it in a can. Cut out some more paper. Write words on the paper. Take the lid and put on the glue.

Cory - French Toast
You have to get 4 pieces of toast, 4 strawberries, 3 lemons, and 2 onions. Cook it on the stove for 5 minutes. Cut the strawberries in half so you'll have 2 on each side. Eat it on a plate.

Funny that the grilled cheese takes 10 hours and the turkey less than one.

Nice post, needed some humor. Thanks

Nomad soul, you owe me a new lap-top! I've been reading these recipes and laughing so hard that my computer fell on the floor! Well, it seems to be working now, so you're off the hook. Thanks for posting these--they sound like great kids.
