FYI: Mexico's Sec. of the Interior is like the VP & Sec. of State in the US both rolled into one job.
MEXICO CITY (AP) � The Mexican government says that its top cabinet official, Francisco Blake Mora, has died in a helicopter with the pilot and other government officials.
Presidential spokeswoman Alejandra Sota said the helicopter went down with eight people on board and there were no survivors.
The secretary of the interior oversees internal political affairs and security.
Francisco Blake Mora was appointed secretary in July 2010. President Felipe Calderon lost another interior secretary, Juan Camilo Mourino, in a plane crash in Mexico City in November 2008. |
