Hi All,
I'm looking for some information and advice.
I have an interview with Al Jazeera Academy in Doha as a primary teacher. I've heard mixed reviews about the school. Does anyone have first hand experience of the school? Or know someone that is there now?
What should I expect salary wise? I've got a degree and PGCE with QTS with one year supply experience. Plus a TEFL and 5 years ESL experience.
Also what is Doha like as a place to live? My husband will be coming with me as a non teaching spouse so what sort of clubs are there. He's into sports most sports actually but in particular football. Is there a Hash House Harriers Club in Doha? Any outdoor activities groups?
Sorry for the hundred questions. Any help or advice you can give is greatly appreciated. |

My girlfriend has friends who work/used to work there. Substandard accomodation and pay. |

I think they are no longer an IB school as they did not meet the standards. A lot of staff turnover. |
