Forget the Kurdish students. That little scam is already well tied up through the INTO system (and the unis mentioned earlier) and the only 'school' in Iraq accredited to run the ESOL exams.
Surprised that the students need 5.5 IELTS. The ones I met didn't seem to be that fluent - really nice kids, though. I guess that would be because they were all well connected with Kurdish government officials - goodness, you don't think............ |

Yes, you're right: It is a "little scam". INTO University Partnerships seem to have their dirty fingers in many pies, although having said that there was some good news yesterday posted at the UCU website:
De Montfort University rejects private company partnership
I hope many other universities resist this very aggressive push into the tertiary sector by these property developers. It can only end of financial disaster and untold misery for the universities that are dumb enough to enter into such an agreement. Go here for the full story:
