Hello, was wondering if anybody had an opinion of Fun Languages Int. in Bangkok. I would appreciate any comments or opinions on this school.

Also, opinions of a reasonable wage expectation in Bangkok for a 23 female native speaker, B.A. (Education & English) and CELTA... but no classroom experience.

Thanks. Smile [/b]

never heard of fun languages int in bangkok.... sorry.

check out www.ajarn.com to see whether theres anything there about them. you will also see the wages that people get paid and lots of other informative stuff about teaching in thailand.

i would say that an average salary would be around the 30k per month mark. i certainly wouldn't settle for any less. thats enough to live comfortably on including travel around thailand as well (as long as you don't have any debts to pay at home).

good luck with it anyway.

Fun Language is just that, fun.

It isn't serious teaching and the children learn very little. However, your schedule is manageable, the methodology and approach is interesting and original, and you tend to enjoy your working day. They are also based in a decent are of Bangkok.

I agree, don't accept less than 30,000THB.

They are a little anally retentive about letting your take time off, even when terms are over (usually has to be unpaid), and there are another few minor issues. PM me for more info.
