Afra

Mato or Matto ?

Ask GaryWolf. He spent seven years in Brazil. But be careful - he is an EXPERT in Clinical Pychology and will analyse your every move !

Hi Scot

What is "Pychology"? Something to do with baking?

"Pychology", my dear GaryWolf, is what we specialists call a "Misprint".

Incidentally an extensive websearch reveals that Portuguese spelling is "Mato" and English is "Matto". Since I write in English I prefer the English spelling.

Perhaps your long exposure to the Brazilian variety of Portuguese has led to intereference with your first language. I assume that after seven years in the rainforest you are fluent in Portuguese. Or were you too busy talking to your feline friend ?
