Why so many roaming dogs all over the place? They crap and pee everywhere, bark all night and at times can be aggressive.
Why is this tolerated here?

In places where crime is a problem, dogs are used as guard dogs.

I have a former in-law who has 4 or 5 guard dogs at her house in Bataan.

No problem with that. Just wish people would keep them on their property or on a leash where they belong...not roaming around the streets etc.

My best friend, who happens to be a dog, asked me the same thing about people! Wink [see brackets]

I explained to Fido that other species have rights too, and that he shouldn't be such a son of a bitchin' speciesist.

all frothy now

not sure how this thread relates to ESL in the Pilipines or Filipines but i like it. I too hated all the rabid diseased creatures roaming 'n' foaming about.

Just returned from the Philippines. It was great! Very Happy

Yes, there are plenty of dogs there.

But there are also plenty of cats.

So I guess it all balances out.
