I am just starting this thread relating to Barakat International School in Kabul, Afghanistan.
I know from experience that if I go to Google and type in the name of an institution or company and then eslcafe, a thread often pops up and so this might be useful for other teachers in the future as I have seen their adverts relatively often recently.
It seems to be an Afghan-Turkish collaboration (Gulen). They state they have teachers from England, Canada etc. but I don't know if they ethnically originate from other countries.
The salary is not stated. I think i read on another thread that the American University of Afghanistan offers ca. $3200, so i can't imagine BIS offering the equivalent (and certainly not more).

For comparison, AUAF pays around $50,000 USD per year. A TESOL-related MA and relevant experience are required. |
