I am talking to a franchise school in a town in Rio d J state. They say they will hire me if I get registered with Ministerio da Trabalho first. I don't think this is possible with tourist visa. I've been calling phone numbers for M.T. but no one ever answers (I'm still in USA right now). The people at the school can't give me a clear answer, only that they can't hire me unless I'm registered with M.T. (They don't care about my visa, only about the MT registration.) I'm afraid that if I go to Brazil and go to M.T. office with only my tourist visa, they will tell my that I can not work.
Am I correct? Has anyone else encountered this? Thanks. |
