Hey there! it's my first time here! i was wondering, can EFL teachers work in state schools in England? (for example, to teach English as an Additional Language to non-native students?) If so, do you need to have a PGCE for that? |

Hic! Well there are little bits of England in Germany still, in the form of Army bases. Sovereign soil and all that. Probably won't help much in regards to your question, though.
For what it is worth, I think just a basic Celta won't cut it in any state-run institutions in the UK. PGCE or Delta/Masters seems to be the bar. Certainly in FE colleges. Dunno about the other types of places. |
