It seems there are basically two options for teaching styles in Saudi Arabia.
1. Those that can find any excuse on why they can't do something. "They hired me to teach English (turn the page) and not do anything else for the program." "I don't have to understand the culture. I don't have to figure out ways to get things done."
2. Those who understand that the culture is not the most friendly towards classwork/homework to learning and can find ways to keep the students engaged in the activities. They find ways to getting done in the classroom as well engaging the student in the particular subject area.

Which would you project to be successful in the Middle East?
