|
|
This is a warning to all potential EFL teachers who might want to work at Abertay-Dundee.
The manager of the program is a bully. She has severe issues working with others. She incessantly gossips about the following:
- her ex-husband, who is a Vice Principal at the university, and how she hates him
- how she did not get a raise because said ex-husband allegedly slept with an HR officer
- how she did not interview a certain person because he had a reputation 'across Scotland'
In addition, she does not deal well with change or suggestions to change any aspect of the program. She does not provide teachers new to Abertay any support short of "use the books we have". She constantly takes days off, and often is not in the office.
She uses tactics that are bullying. Full stop.
She observes teachers several times in a row without giving any kind of formal, written feedback (despite this being a basic requirement set forth by both the British Council and BALEAP).
She accuses those she hates of lying, falsifying work experience and references (despite all evidence contrary to her accusations), and even attacks the very character and professionalism of a teacher by demonising the person.
She is an evil person who does NOT deserve to be a teacher or coordinator at all.
