Is there an EPIK-like program in China where I could gain teaching experience in teaching secondary school? |

A program like EPIK or the JET Programme? Not sure.
I did come across this but I don't really know anything about it. Seems to be for US citizens. The website doesn't mention pay. Am not sure if it is a good program or not. A bit more investigation would need to be done. Sorry that I can't really provide any insight on it.

From your link:
" All Fellows receive a full monthly salary, commensurate with local teachers salaries in the regions where they work.
Fellows are provided housing and international health insurance free of charge. Most Fellows live in dormitory-style accommodations on campus," |

Ah, I did come across that later. I am thinking that the pay would be low (2,000 to 3,000 RMB?).

If you want to teach in public schools, there was a company in Shanghai called BSK that I interviewed with. Seemed like it was teaching English as an elective at elementary schools around the city. |

Did you interview with BSK directly or though a contractor? What's the schools reputation? How do they treat their teachers?
