???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

This is both a question and a possible solution. I read these links and then realized most foreign teachers in China that I spoke with said they would never do it again. So how to stop all the China recruiters who bait people with China and lie through their teeth just to earn their 30% fee?

Despite all these warning links, the agents continue to dominate the first two pages of google with their "work abroad" ads and pack of lies. They lie about visas, salaries, schools, etc. How to stop these *beep*?

I found this form letter online which I thought was pretty cool because no matter what we tell each other here online, newbie wannabe teachers will still use the agents. At least this might help them weed out the worst of the bunch... http://www.myalbum.com/GroteFoto-HAA4N7SZ.jpg

Interesting articles. Scary if true. I'm curious though. I thought the apartments were paid for yet the articles mention how the teachers have to pay rent?

"As foreign teacher Peter D. of Madison, Wisconsin pointed out, "Without two roommates I could not afford to live here."

I have seen where teachers starting off in China can make around what's equal to 1,200 dollars a month with an apt that the teacher doesn't have to pay rent.

Internet connection is critical for me. How is the internet connection in China? Beijing for example?
