Can anyone pass along Thailand's age limits for getting a work permit? I mean, do some of the regions actually enforce the upper limit? Do the rather remote areas look the other way?
I'm over 65 but still work full time and have no health issues. What are the chances of teaching, preferably in a Uni. I have BS & MS & TESOL & 3+ years experience teaching.

Retirement in Thailand is sixty, though people do work over that age if they have special permission. It depends on the person and the institution, special permission itself is not too difficult to get, but the school must actually want to bother when it is more lazy just to employ someone who doesn't need it.

I'm 44 so maybe Thailand is the place for me. Still trying to decide.
