I have recently accepted a position in Ras Al Khaimah in UAE. Can anyone give me specific information about teaching there, what the children are generally like and life in the UAE. Thanks. Dawnuta

I can only give a little info on RAK. I have visited there a few times, but have never worked there. I have had a couple friends who taught with HCT there who enjoyed it. But, it is a very small coastal city - not much to do and only limited shopping. It is a rather long trip to Sharjah or Dubai. Certainly not the greatest place if you are single. Smile

You asked about the 'children' and I have only taught tertiary level in the Emirates, but maybe someone can answer that.
