to what I know, EF is a franchise, and they all have their distinctive reputation.
Hanoi has a good one. |

There's a lot of EF bashing on this forum but bear this in mind. They hire more teachers than most other schools put together, so it's logical that they will get more bad press.
Most schools have a five day week now, with a consecutive 2 day break. They have good resources, nice offices, and helpful staff. You usually only teach 20 or so hours a week, preperation time is up to you. You get the same class for 32 hours, if you haven't taught them anything by the end of it the finger shouldn't be pointed anywhere but at yourself.
I left EF two months ago, which I now know was a huge mistake. If you are a new teacher, or new to a country, you can do far far worse than EF. |
