Hello everyone,
I am new to the forum, but I wanted to explain my position and get advice. I am 19 years old, a sophomore in college, studying World Languages Education (Chinese, Spanish) and a minor in ESL. Next semester I will be in Buenos Aires studying Spanish. In the summer I plan on taking a TEFL/Celta course in either Latin America or Southeast Asia and finding a job teaching English for the next two semesters. I have work experience, experience with kids, and good grades. Is this too ambitious? I want to know if I am being realistic in my expectations of getting a job. My ultimate hope would be to break even after the whole experience.
Thanks for any help!

A large number of places are going to require a Bachelors degree I believe.

It's also problematic to find an employer willing to jump through the legal hoops to hire a minor.
