Yeah, my Favorite hang-out was Christi's Cool Spot but that was 8 years ago. My wife used to work there.

We come back for Tet and I wish I could make the same money as Saigon but it just doesn't work out with my seminar business. I'd prefer to live a lot closer to Ba Na but I guess I'll have to hold off until retirement, whatever that is!

Haven't heard about the expansion in the expat education business in Danang, it brightens my hopes of moving back there someday!
Christie's was torn down recently. I don't know if they're replacing it but I don't think too many tears were shed over it. It was popular back in the day when it was one of two pubs. I hadn't been there in 4 years and don't know anyone who went there in the recent past. Da Nang has grown up a bit--for the better.

Yeah, Christi's isn't really that popular of a place anymore. It was before my time here. Danang's nightlife and bar scene has been expanding quite a lot. When I first moved here 2 years ago, it seemed like there were only 3 or 4 places to go if you wanted to meet up with people, but now there's many more.
