Hello whats up! как дела

I've been checking out this forum for a while and finally registered. I really want to go to Russia in the fall to teach.

I am going to graduate in May with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Russian. Then in July I am going to take the CELTA in NYC. I already have enough money saved to pay for the course and living arrangements set.

I want to get a job with Language Link because they provide accommodations. At least their website says they do.

So what I'm wondering is should I apply now even though I won't have my degree and CELTA till the end of July, or wait till like May?

Any thoughts on the subject would be appreciated Smile

I don't think it will hurt to apply now and then follow it up with further correspondence in May. From personal experience, most schools in Moscow seem poorly organised (such as looking for new staff only AFTER the staff have left, despite having been given 3 months notice)

So if you do apply now, they'll probably have forgotten about you by the time May comes around.

LL do provide accommodation. The kind of place you get is completely pot luck and very much depends on what they have going at the time. But it shouldn't be a problem if you're not too picky.
When my DOS showed me to my apartment he said, "Welcome to North Korea". That summed up the apartment nicely.
