Hi Everyone, I am going to Turin in September, and hope to stay there for a year reseraching my Phd. I will need to work part time while I'm there though, and wondered if anyone knew anything about teaching English in turin. I have been looking through sites like tefl.com and never see any jobs advertised for turin- does anyone know how if there would be many jobs there, and what the chances would be of finding work once i go over there? Also I am particularly interested in teaching as a lettore in the university, but I'm not sure how to go about applying for that- have written to the university but no answer so far. Also, is it possible in general to find part time teaching work in Italk, or do most schools only offer full time contracts? i have an EU passport, a masters degree, TEFL cetificate and a little teaching experience. I would appreciate any advice on jobs, on on Turin in general. |

Fromm what I've read here on this forum, a TEFL certificate and your EU passport will go a long way toward gettign you a job in Italy. Can't speak to teh part tiem issue, though I think I've rad that a lot of people do find part time work, just don't know if it's with schools or private clients
Ciao.
