Considering contracts with Watts English School. Does anyone have any information they'd like to share regarding cost of living or a sufficient salary? Also, will I need to undergo a physical or take a drug test to obtain a work visa? Thanks in advance for any and all advice and guidance... |

Can anyone give information on cost of living in Czech? How much is typical rent? Water? Electricity? Cable? I'm not talking about Prague but other places . |

In threads about "The Czech Republic" on Daves ESL Café we can assume that all or most of the posts will be about "Teaching in the Czech Republic". Would it not be more practical to choose a more SPECIFIC title ?
eg
1. Watts English School
2. Living Costs Outside Prague |

Hi. Drug test/physical not usually needed. Will you be based in Prague or elsewhere? I can give some basic info regarding cost of living if I have a little more info.
Generally, newbie teachers in the country make enough to get by and to enjoy themselves locally, but not enough to save up or travel much, or to pay back debt back home.
Assuming you are not an EU member citizen? If you are, work visa not needed. |

He DID provide "useful advice": to use a more specific topic title, which might cause more members to read the thread, thereby increasing the probability of getting more replies with the sort of "useful advice" you were looking for |
