We had some money in Kasa Wspolnota which went bankrupt recently. Some was in lokaty which were almost ready to pay out after two years. We had to go to Bank Pekao BP to claim our money back under the bank guarantee system. We got everything including interest earned up to the date of the crash and it arrived the next day to a bank account of our choosing.

Very efficient and quick. Can't imagine it would be so easy in Britain.

So not all is bad over here.

No no no, you don't get it do you? You're a long term poster but clearly you haven't got the gist of this what you should have said was:

the banks in Poland are terrible and i lost all my money and it could only hjappen in Poland and i hate it and i'm moving back and screw you guys and aren't electronics too expensive and how much is a pair of levis?

by the way i got all my money back without a problem.
