I have read that it is important to have your original degree certificate when applying for jobs, is this true? A photocopy is not sufficient? |

Unless it's apostilled how are they to know if the copy is the copy of a real degree. Thailand is rife with fake documents, even an apostilled document might not be enough for them. You probably would be better off to just obtain a couple more degree certificates from the Registrar at your university. |

Its not just that it is important, it is that it is almost always required by the Ministry of Ed, TTC and/or Min of Labor (cant remember exactly which place asks for it). You should also have sealed/stamped copies of original transcripts. An official degree confirmation letter from your Uni stated degree earned and date is also recommended.
Thailand is not a member of the Apostille convention, so an apostilled document will most likely mean little to them.

Most universities will supply all of these documents for a price. Even extra degree certificates (these can be costly though). |
