Dear Joe,

I hope that suggestion was made ih jest - it must have been.

What may or may not - or won't - work probably IS relevant to those who have "lost loved ones" since bad, ineffectual policies often CAUSE such losses.

Regards,
John

Dear John,

Police, in my humble opinion, would probably fit the situation better. After all, they came to arrest the man who they say hijacked the planes.

So much hidden from the investigation and the identities of those who actually did it isn't exactly understanding, except to the unfortunate Afghanis.

Sincerely yours,
Joe

Dear Joe,

"Police, in my humble opinion, would probably fit the situation better."

Oh, Joe - the "police" are only following the "policies," the tools the policy-makers use.

Regards,
John

Dear John,

Which policy-makers, the ones in the US or Afghanistan, are you talking about now?

Respectfully yours,
Joe

Dear John,

All of the above should keep their world police, policies and vendetta to themselves.

Respectfully yours,
Joe

The Afghan economy has become dependent on massive injections of Foreign "Aid". What will happen after the departure of Uncle Sam and his "running dogs" ?

The new Afghan president, who has won the well organized elections, will probably make sure the "running dogs" keep on running those mountains and the huge reliance on foreign assistance keeps expanding.
