|
|
Has anyone done a distance MA while teaching full-time? It sounds like it is a lot of work to do both, but it would be a way for me to get experience while getting the degree. My other option would be to live at my parent’s house while working on the distance MA.
How possible would it be to study and work at the same time? |

Lots of people complete degrees while working. However, you really can't compare your situation to others because success in a distance learning environment depends on:
- your level of self-motivation and discipline
- your ability to work autonomously as well as in group situations
- your organization, planning, and time management skills
- the program or course delivery (e.g., asynchronous vs synchronous learning)
- the amount and depth of assignments
- your confidence expressing yourself in writing
- how frequently you'd need to be online
- your access to a computer/technology/the Internet and familiarity using it
- your other commitments |
