Hi,
I was wondering if there is anyone who has experience with teaching in a state school, for example in Greece or Spain. I am completing a teaching degree in the Netherlands, and I might be able to get a placement as a teaching assistant through my university in a state school in another European country. I lived in Spain before as a student, but I have no idea how it is to teach at a Spanish state school, or does anyone has experience teaching in a Greek (non-private) school? Or maybe there is someone with a very good experience teaching in a state school in another European country? I'd like to know more about, for example, hours of work (long or short days, hours on a saturday?), mentality of the pupils and teachers etc. I'd like to go to a Southern European country but I find it difficult to select a country to put on the top of my list. Hope to hear about your experiences/thoughts on this,
